Oldenburg, Germany-based producer Florian Filsinger (aka A Thousand Vows) teams up with Dos Feeliz, the SF/LA duo made up of Eric Steuer (Not the 1s, Meanest Man Contest) and artist/designer Jason Betrue. Filsinger created the track while on the road in Europe; Steuer and Betrue wrote and recorded their parts inside a suite at the El Cortez, a Downtown Las Vegas casino once owned by Bugsy Siegel (the duo used packing foam from a hotel alcohol shipment as a reflection filter in a makeshift vocal booth). "So Old" was mastered by Nick Carden and cut by hand onto square, transparent 7" records using a vintage lathe.
